There was a question at today's meeting if Israel threatened to use nuclear force in the 1973 Yom Kippur War. Dory can probably find better sources, but here is a quick fact check using Wikipedia. It appears that the incident was reported in Seymore Hersh's book the The Samson Option.
On another topic, Occupy Wall Street, Doris Sutherland mentioned that there was some anarchist that was speaking for the movement. I could not find the reference on the Occupy Wall Street website, so I did a Google search. I found this SmartBrief on Occupy Wall Street's anarchist-in-chief. It appears that the term anarchy refers the lack of hierarchal leadership.
On the topic of Move Your Money Day on Nov. 5, I said that I thought that the date was an anniversary but I forgot what I was. It turns out that Nov. 5 is Guy Fawkes Day and its association with Occupy Wall Street is explained HERE. That should explain those funny masks you see at these demonstrations.
